Welcome to All Saints’ in Breadsall. We are a welcoming group of Christians with services in a variety of styles intended to suit the diversity of members who consider Breadsall Church their spiritual home.
We offer a communion service using the Book of Common Prayer at 8am each week, followed by a cycle of services based on Common Worship at 1015. The first week of each month has an All Age service designed to welcome young families. The second and fourth weeks have a communion service with some sung elements (led by our small but capable choir). The third Sunday provides a traditional Morning Prayer and often infant baptism. Fifth Sundays could be anything!
In the evening we offer a short Taize service (2nd Sunday every other month at 6.30pm), a Cafe Church each 3rd Sunday evening at 7pm; and traditional Evensong with sung canticles, psalm and anthem each 4th Sunday evening. The Evensong is led by our choir and is also at 6.30pm.
During the week, we have a flourishing ministry to young children with a toddlers’ group meeting on Tuesday mornings (Minnows), and After-School club on Tuesday afternoons (Funky Fish). Finally, there is a Youth Group on Fridays (y:pig). Details of these can be found from the menu links.
The church is also a popular place to hold weddings for couples who qualify for marriage in Breadsall. Details can be obtained from our Wedding Secretary. Subject to availability, we can offer church bells (peal of 8 bells) or the choir to enhance your wedding day.
